Our Committees

Membership and Mentoring

This committee processes all forms for new and returning members and transfers the information to a group roster which is distributed at the meetings. A list of members who wish to mentor new nurse practitioners is also available.

 

Legislative

This committee stays updated on current legislative issues involving the state of California and the federal government focusing in pediatric health care and advanced practice roles (nurse practitioners). The information is distributed to our members with suggestions on what they can do to relay important information to the legislators.

 

Community Outreach and Fund Raising

This committee selects a variety of projects for the chapter to involve itself in each year. We are interested in projects that promote the well being of children and increase community awareness for NAPNAP and our Sacramento Chapter. Past fund raising projects have included health fairs and walks, as well as other special projects.

 

Programs

This committee coordinates speakers and sponsors for educational dinner meetings and distributes CEU's to members who attend the meetings.
