Officer Duties

The President's shall:

  1. Serve as the chairperson of the Executive Board

  2. Preside at all meeting, conducting the formal Order of Business

  3. Coordinate with the CE Planning Committee to arrange details of each regular meeting place, time and speaker

     

The Vice-President shall:

  1. Preside at all meetings in the absence of the President

  2. Record minutes in the absence of the Secretary

  3. Assist with CE planning, attendance records, and certificates

  4. Serve as the Parliamentarian in his/her absence

     

The Secretary shall:

  1. Record minutes of all meetings

  2. Prepare and mail notices of meeting place, time, and speaker

  3. Maintain a current membership list

  4. Maintain a Minutes Book

  5. Conduct general correspondence

  6. Maintain CE attendance records and collect evaluations and give certificates at CE offerings

     

The Treasurer shall:

  1. Receive dues and any other funds and deposit in the bank account

  2. Pay only bills designated by the President

  3. Keep an itemized account of all receipts and disbursements

  4. Give a verbal report of monies at each meeting

     

The Parliamentarian shall:

  1. Maintain the order of business using Robert's Rules during business meetings and Executive Board Meetings

  2. Serve as the timekeeper
