Haiti Relief Efforts

Dear HANP Community:

It is hard to watch the news or pick up a newspaper without seeing the devastation and the hardship the people in Haiti are experiencing.  As professionals dedicated to helping others, many of you have asked how we can help.

Locally, Galveston.com has a drive to collect flip flops and shoes. Read more here.

There are several sites that allow you to donate directly to Haitian earthquake relief efforts.

Visit the American Red Cross site, Doctors Without Borders, the Center for International Disaster Information for more information about appropriate contributions and a list of credible responding agencies for international emergencies. 

Additionally, the Embassy of Haiti welcomes assistance from those in the medical field. You may contact them by e-mail at earthquakerelief-med@haiti.org.
