As a Magnet organization and part of one of the country´s pre-eminent universities, our 454-bed Level I regional and pediatric trauma center is proud to be on the leading edge of medical advancement.

 

We are Central Pennsylvania´s only academic medical center and home to Penn State Children´s Hospital. We are looked to as a resource for the most complex adult and pediatric cases, serving in areas such as our Level III-C Neonatal ICU, the Penn State Cancer Institute, and Neuroscience Institute.

Our nurse practitioners function as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing a wide range of services to a specific patient population. Nurse practitioners desiring personal and professional growth will be able to achieve both as a member of our health professions team.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A Masters Degree in Nursing with two years RN experience, one year NP experience, (which may include a 1-year clinical student practicum), and PA state nursing licensure (or eligibility) required. Certification in the area of specialization is preferred. Must have effective consultation skills.
